Dr. Klein is healthy, Dr. Klein is 55+, Dr. Klein has spent 10 years with developing and implementing preventive medical concepts and principles for the SIEMENS AG in Munich during his time as one of their Occupational Health Specialists. Preventive medicine was given a breakthrough in 1986 when the WHO made a definition of what is health. Dr. Klein was the man of the first hour to translate “health being a goal” into corporate activities, corporate health management and corporate culture.

Nowaday, Dr. Klein is crystallizing his vast experiences in prevention for concepts and principles for managing the health of seniors, who are on themselves and not anymore under the protecting umbrellas of a company offering health management services internally. The GERAS project is one of these results for which he developed and coined the medical and preventive philosophy substantially.

According to experience and research for healthy ageing he suggests six pillars as factors which need to be translated into a culture surrounding the elderly for a perfect healthy ageing management:

  •           Exercise and motor activity
  •           Healthy food and drinks
  •           Social embedment and acknowledgment
  •           Self-fulfillment and participation
  •           Continuity and tradition
  •          Climate and a safe environment
